Superior sheet metal fabrication and engineering

for Wellington & the rest of New Zealand

Sheet metal production and forming, laser cutting, turret punching, welding, powder coating and much more.

At RH Freeman in Wellington we use the latest technology to manufacture everything from metal enclosures and lawn mower components to decorative items and office furniture. Our highly-skilled team works with stainless steel, copper, brass, aluminium, iron, mild steel, galvanised steel and acrylics. We first opened our doors in 1946, so everything we do is backed up by decades of hands-on experience and expertise.
Our relationship with you can be end-to-end comprehensive, from ordering the raw material through to dispatching the final product. Or you can use us strategically for specific services. While we’re based in Wellington, our customers come from all over New Zealand.
Sustainability is important to us. Out latest investment is a 30-ton servo electric-powered turret machine, which replaces a model that required hydraulic oil to operate. We are continuously looking for ways to reduce our consumption of energy and fossil fuel.
